It’s all about perspective
At point zero. Numb. Drained. Exhausted. This is how I am currently feeling.
Once more, I planned and prepared myself for a path that I have talked myself away from at the last minute - due to unexpected turn of events that were out of my control-.
Although, the current situation feels like the outcome I truly desired and hoped for deep down, my former experience and conditioning was doubting it enough to convince me that this is not realistic. Therefore, I was preparing myself for a new, less known, less familiar, more scary and yet somehow more promising -in my mind- outcome.
But now, things have shifted. I’ve shifted my direction. And instead of actually enjoying and celebrating the fact that this last minute shift happened, I am puzzled. I feel stopped in my tracks, almost confused.
Am I being influenced and abandoning myself (again)? Or am I actually aligning more with my true desires?

This is a question we may often find ourselves asking. For people, like me, who spend most of their lives acting as the chameleon in their relationships with others in order to feel safe, and now actively choose to brake these patterns, this question creates the most inner turmoil.
Finding and listening to our truth is a muscle we get to practice and strengthen. It’s an ability we need to reclaim and regain.
Ultimately, it is the discernment between intuition and fear. Discerning between our truth and other people’s expectations , former traumas, fears and doubts.
Fine tuning our discernment takes time.
In the process, we get to become flexible, adaptable and resilient enough to be open to redirections.
We get to stay open and vulnerable enough to make mistakes and not blame ourselves for them. We get to learn to flow with life instead of resisting it whenever making a decision.
We get to understand that each decision we make is based on the data and narratives we have up until that moment.
And we get to learn to re-adapt and re-evaluate when those data change. Instead of stubbornly sticking to our initial decision, we get to allow ourselves to change our minds and move from there…
Afterall, life, and our inner wisdom, will always guide us and align us with the path where we can learn and grow most. If you choose to see it like that, life is always exciting. Every redirection, is a blessing, opening us up to opportunities in miraculous and surprising ways.
It’s all a matter of perspective… ;)
Love,
Eleni
