When will I be free?

The moment you ‘decide’ you are not willing to dim your light AND darkness to fit your own and other people’s expectations, you are free!

Is it just one moment? Yes, and no.

Because, it’s not truly a decision, but rather a moment of grounded self-realization that results through the process of finding (or remembering) who you are -your own voice-.

A ‘enough is enough’ type of moment, yet instead of stemming from anger or resistance, it stems from wholeness and self-acceptance.

It’s the moment when you give your child-self the acceptance and visibility they never got to experience as a child in the presence of a mature, safe and protective adult: YOU.

You no longer react to or engage with immaturity, guilt or shame - both coming from you or external sources-. You observe it, acknowledge it for what it is and ultimately you pass it by.

But the real question is…do you dare to be free?

Truly free! To explore and live life the way you were always meant to live it. Free of baggage and false narratives, beliefs and expectations of what’s right or what’s wrong. Free to choose what to believe or what to accept as your truth and free to drop it the moment it stops being your truth - either because you’ve outgrown a situation, learned the lesson from a certain experience, or because you don’t find fulfilment, joy or satisfaction the experience anymore-.

Right or wrong’ is a human construct.

There is no objective right or wrong separate from its context of reference. Every ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ decision is always linked to certain conditions and standards.

So if freedom is what you’re seeking, the only thing that can guide you into making the ‘right’ decision for YOU in the moment is using your discernment in alignment with your soul’s truth. Tuning in to your intuition. How does this look like?

Essentially, at any given moment you are called to make a choice - no matter how significant or insignificant- you are asked to answer the question: “What feels true for me in this moment?”

You don’t fixate on how things are or how they should be. You simply observe and check in with yourself in that moment.

It is one thing to be honest enough to answer that question and is a totally different level of experience to actually follow through with action.

Because what feels true for us is not always what we’ve learned to believe is right. And that makes all the difference.

So, it’s when OUR truth aligns with OUR actions that we can actually feel free. This is what living authentically is all about.

Love,
